I’ve just installed SCOM 2012 into my lab and it didn’t appear obvious how to set the licence key.A quick Bing search brought up a great post on the Coretech blog which explains exactly how to do it.

However, When I tried this I got the error set-scomlicense : Requested registry access is not allowed which as you can imagine is a little annoying.Luckily I found another Coretech blog with the solution, this even references the above article
